Key responsibilities include crafting and maintaining project plans, establishing cross-functional teams, and navigating projects from initiation through post-implementation. Your role will include monitoring project progress, ensuring alignment with proposed business benefits, and identifying and realising benefits through the compilation of benefits registers. You will play a crucial role in supporting systems' design, development, and testing, ensuring they meet user and stakeholder needs from both business and clinical perspectives. Identifying system enhancements and changes and ensuring technical specifications are adhered to by third-party suppliers are integral aspects of your role. Documenting project details, including Project Initiation Documents, Highlight Reports, Project Briefs, and financial statements, will be part of your routine. You'll manage project teams, relationships with third-party suppliers, and project budgets, providing quality assurance, managing project finances, and initiating risk assessments to minimise potential risks, especially those related to patient safety or usability. Change Management & Process Review: Your role extends to overseeing and coordinating process review workshops and fostering positive organisational change. You will collaboratively work with teams to question existing ways of working, facilitate process redesign, and implement new working processes post-go-live. Collaborating with the Change Management Team, you will develop and implement change management strategies and ensure policies and procedures are in place to support systems post-go-live. Communication & Engagement: Developing communication and stakeholder engagement plans, you will work closely with the Communications team to effectively communicate the project within and across the organisation. Your role includes presenting complex technical and clinical information to various audiences, ensuring that concepts are conveyed simply for effective decision-making. Training & Development: You will collaborate with the training team to coordinate end-user training programs, plan and deliver system training, and support implementing new processes. Your role involves providing on-site support post-go-live until appropriate handover to the System Administration team. HR Management: You will collaborate across the Digital Services Directorate to ensure appropriate resources for timely project deployment. This includes managing project teams and junior staff, line management responsibilities, and active participation in recruitment, selection, and adherence to Trust-wide HR policies. Your commitment to personal development and training requirements will ensure your continued effectiveness in supporting project and departmental objectives.
