The JD Group is looking for a Energy & Billing Analyst to join our Procurement team!!

· Job Title – Energy & Billing Analyst

· Location – Bury Head Office (BL9 8RR)

· Working rota – 8.30-5pm

· Working hours – 40 hrs/week (9 Month FTC)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Energy and Billing Analyst you'll be doing the following:

• You'll be maintaining the UK and International Property portfolio to ensure all systems are up to date.Process paper and electronic invoices into dedicated utility bill validation software (TEAM EAA). Resolving invoice errors through invoice validation checks and being able to follow up on queries, rejecting and disputing invoices if needed.
• You'll be processing utility invoices and loading electronic utility billing files. Creating reports to enable accounts payable to process payments in a timely manner.
• You'll be identifying, investigating and resolving utility queries, as well as maintain metering portfolio with new acquisitions and closures.
• You'll manage waste queries from UK stores then liaise with supplier to resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.

What We're Looking For:

• Ideally graduate with excellent numeric and analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills are essential, with the ability to use spreadsheets efficiently and automate processes to manage large volumes of data
• Good understanding of invoicing processes with the ability to identify, investigate and resolve issues. Previous experience of utility invoicing preferred but not essential
