Job description
We are looking to appoint a part time, Communication Support Worker - Autism Inclusion Team - Trainer (0.4 FTE) as from 08.04.24. Applicants will need to have experience of working with autistic children and have a comprehensive knowledge of autism friendly approaches. The role entails working independently as a trainer in various different settings around the County, and with Teacher and CSW colleagues working in Mainstream settings from Nursery to Post 16, advising/training staff and parents. Occasional cover work with pupils within settings maybe required
This post is has arisen due to the increased requests for awareness training in schools and out in the wider community, including health care providers, public services, activity centres, charity groups etc.
We would also like to be able to broaden AIT’s social media platform.
A current driving licence is essential.
