A position has become available at a well-established, modern practice in the vibrant market town of Ashton-Under-Lyne. Just a 10 minute tram ride to Manchester City Centre and the Peak District a stones throw away; this is a great place to live and work. Our client, a Tier 2 Small Animal Practice, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their great team of Vets (including several certificate holders), Nurses and Support Staff.

This state-of-the-art practice is fully equipped with facilities including a diagnostic suite with x-ray machine, ultrasound and endoscopes, an in-house laboratory with blood testing and microscopes, a preparation room, separate cat and dog wards, an isolation ward and much more.

Your role will include general nursing duties such as Nurse clinics, assisting the Vets when required and much more. Our client prides themselves on staff retention and offers a kind, friendly and supportive workplace with a chance to further your clinical skills if desired.

The Role:
•Full Time role - 37.5 hours
•Part time hours available
•1:3 Saturdays
•No OOH and no bank holidays

Benefits:
•Salary - £24,500 - £26,500 DOE
•Generous CPD of £600 per year and 3 CPD days
•Holiday and sickness pay
•VDS Cover
•RCVS fees paid
