Purchasing Assistant with Healthcare Experience

We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant/Finance Administrator with healthcare experience to join our clients growing team.
This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Finance Operations Manager and you will be working in a small team and will be required to coordinate closely with the Billing and Procurement functions.
Responsibilities:
- Raising Purchase Orders to purchase stock and services and processing returns
- Liaising directly with suppliers to ensure that orders for goods and services are received on time, to the correct standards and at the agreed price
- Liaising with accounts and suppliers to ensure critical payments are made on time
- Running weekly stock orders and checking order levels with stakeholders to ensure stock purchase orders are correct
- Maintaining product catalogue in the IT system, involving the creation, amendment and closing of products, reorder levels and supplier descriptions
- Maintaining a live inventory and transacting goods in and goods out on relevant systems
- Ensuring stock is received and stored appropriately whilst organising the stockroom, ensuring accurate labelling, placement, arrangement and cleanliness of goods
Requirements:
- Experience in Purchasing and /or supply chain
- Experience in a finance role
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent IT skills, including advanced in Microsoft Excel

This is a Monday to Friday position working up to 40 hours per week alongside some of the best consultants in the world. Shifts may include 9am to 5pm and 11am to 7pm.
