Project Manager
Have you got Project Management and Highways experience? Are you looking for a new opportunity working in Area 12?
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage established sites
- Review H&S paperwork
- Identify engineering discrepancies
- Plan and oversee projects
- Schedule project timelines
- Perform method statements and risk assessments
- Manage project administration and site documentation
- Meet budgetary goals
- Regularly report to senior management
- Track project performance
- Organise site resources (labour, materials, subcontractors)
- Ensure suitability of plant & machinery
- Oversee Supervisor and Foreman performance
- Coach and support new hires
- Organise employee training
- Ensure trained personnel for tasks
- Competent in closing out Health & Safety Files
Qualifications for Project Manager:
- HND/HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Essential CSCS Gold Card
- Essential SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Preferable NRSWA certification
- Competency with MS Project
Project Manager Specification:
- Professional, self-motivated attitude
- Proficiency in contract documents and relationships
- Ability to teach and develop team members
- Strong Health and Safety leadership
- Effective time management and organisation
- Solid understanding of Engineering principles
- Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation
- Full clean driving licence
