Summary:
AtkinsRéalis Transportation Division covers all aspects of multidisciplinary design and management from inception to detailed scheme design and construction support. We worked for and on behalf of our Clients in both the Public and Private Sector.
Our Highways a nd Active Travel Practice in the North East covers teams in Newcastle, Stockton-on-Tees, and Leeds. We are looking to grow the Newcastle team and strengthen the current capabilities by an appointment of a Principal Engineer, based in Newcastle office. This role will support the growth and development of our Highways capabilities and active travel experience in Tyne & Wear and Tees Valley and play a key role to lead project delivery of highways and/ or active travel schemes as a senior member of the team.
The role will focus primarily on the technical delivery of highways and active travel projects of varying complexity across North East, as a Technical Lead. Leading a team of engineers, technicians and other disciplines, you will be accountable for the project performance (commercial and quality) and meeting clients’ expectations and project objectives. The role will also offers the opportunity for the right candidate to develop future work pipelines through business development as well as leading and developing team members.
