We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Waltham Forest, London for a Veterinary Nurse to join them on a part time basis. The position is full time offering 40 hours per week over 4-5 days. There is a 1:3 shared Saturday rota from 8.30am - 12.30pm. There are no Sundays, OOH or bank holidays.

- Hours: Full time 40 hours per week over 4-5 days. Shifts for 5 days pet week are 8.30 - 5pm or 11am - 7.30pm and for 4 days 9am - 7.30pm
- OOH: No OOH
- Salary: Up to £29,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
About the role:
- Permanent Veterinary Nurse
- Full time 40 hours per week over 4-5 days. Shifts for 5 days pet week are 8.30 - 5pm or 11am - 7.30pm and for 4 days 9am - 7.30pm
- 1:4-6 Saturdays
- No OOH or Sundays
- There is a mixture of early and late shifts
- The role will involve a variety if nurse duties including in patient care, nurse consultations, radiography, laboratory work, anaesthesia and theatre work, diagnostics and assisting the Vets
- Nurses are encouraged to perform schedule three duties.
- The role offers a generous CPD and allows nurses to pursue areas of special interest
- The role offers clinical coaching opportunities so it would be an advantage for the RVN to have clinical coaching experience but not essential
About them:
- Established 1st opinion small animal practice
- Nurse training practice
- They are equipped with facilities including dental x-ray, digital x-ray, a new dental suit, Ultrasound and in house laboratory
- They can offer a wide variety of cases and believe in case continuity and offer support to the team where required
- They have a supportive nursing team of 2 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 VCAs
- The Nursing team are confident in schedule 3 procedures
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

- They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily
