Position: Production/Assembly Technician (Workshop Based)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: Temporary to Permanent for the successful candidate
Working Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am to 3pm Friday (with potential overtime)
Location: Worcester
Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 per annum dependent on experience
We are seeking a Bespoke Lighting Production/Assembly Technician to join our client's successful business, who are a fun, close knit team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling bespoke lighting products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate would have some knowledge of metalwork, or experience in a similar role and must be practical minded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble bespoke lighting from different types of materials and components.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficient production and safe working conditions.
- Use hand and power tools, including soldering equipment, band saws, pillar drills, polishing machines.
- Cast plaster moulding and resin casting to create lighting fixtures.
- Work with brass, stone, glass and steel materials, including drilling, polishing, and lathe work.
- Spray paint and finish bespoke lighting fixtures to ensure high-quality results.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Assemble bespoke lighting fixtures according to client specifications.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring that materials and supplies are available for production and assembly tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on progress and identifying potential issues.
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills related to Bespoke lighting production and assembly techniques, staying up to date with new technologies and processes.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.

- Machine skills e.g. manual mills, lathes (any experience)
