Job description

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London-based local authority who are seeking a part-time Property Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Property Lawyer (part-time)
LOCATION: South London
RATE: £40-50ph DOE
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension.

3 days per week.

Please note that this role would require 1 day in the office per week.

The Role of the Property Lawyer

• To manage a caseload of property law matters through to completion

• Caseload would consist of commercial leases, renewals, licences, auction sales and advisory work

• To take on any other complex cases when required to do so

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE

• Previous experience of working with the legal department of a local authority would be desirable

• Technically sound with complex commercial property transactions
