The Catering department services food outlets and venues within the DUSA Building, Duncan of Johnstone College of Art and Design, University library and a number of other satellite venues throughout the campus. Our focus is to provide high quality, good value food throughout the day and evening.
The position of Chef de Partie will involve knowledge of all aspects of the professional kitchen, food preparation and delivery, food hygiene, food storage and management, quality control, awareness of stock levels, recording and maintaining safety records.
Reports to: Head Chef.
This role is predominantly based at our satellite venue, although at other times you may be required to work in one of our other outlets. Full training will be given.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, mostly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
Salary
Negotiable, depending upon experience.
No additional payments or allowances and no contractual entitlement to overtime. DUSA operates a TOIL policy, and any additional hours would be managed under this policy.
