Full time chefs all levels -Telford & surrounding areas
Contract type: Temporary mixture of days, evenings & weekend shifts
Hourly rate: £16 per hour up to £18 per hour
Location: Telford, Shropshire, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme & surrounding areas
Temporary: Full time and Part time positions available.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic Chefs and Cooks all levels to join us to work within industrial catering, contract catering, care homes, schools, hotels, golf clubs, farm shops sporting and leisure establishments, supporting with any sickness, both short term and long term, and also support with the increase demand.
This role can offer flexibility of shifts, day time and evening shifts, occasional weekends and great pay rates. The more flexible you are with travelling and the role you cover the more shifts and work we can offer. The ideal candidate will be working with fresh nutritious food adhering to dietary requirements and working in a variety of different atmospheres which will change from site to site.

Working Hours:
As some of our sites are operational 24 hours a day, some shifts will be early morning starts from 7am and some shifts would require late evenings or nights. Your hours will vary from 6/7am until late in the evening from around 8/9pm dependant on your rotas and shift patterns.
You will be required to work weekdays from Monday to Friday, also some of our clients will involve weekends too.
Main Duties:
* Work within a team to ensure jobs are completed for the day
* Putting away deliveries.
* Dealing food orders dependant on business needs
* Assist with the preparation of food & other areas of the kitchen such as pot washing.
* Adhering to all relevant health and safety requirements
* Cooking nutritious food within business requirements
* Ensure a clean as you go policy is being operated at all times
* Serving food and till operation dependant on business needs
Requirements and skills:
* Previous experience as a chef
* Ability to work as a part of team
* Flexibility in shift patterns including weekends
* Great communication and team work skills
* Level 2 food hygiene certificate (ideal but not essential as training is provided)
* Level 2 Health and Safety Certificate (ideal but not essential as training is provided)
* Passion for food
* Ability to work under pressure
* Due to certain locations a full UK driving license is required along with own access to a vehicle
The Commute:
As we cover a large number of locations across Derbyshire your commute will vary. If you have a car and are flexible with locations, great. If you're limited to public transport, we'll only send you to places that have public transport links and provide you with all the information you will need to get there.
