We have an opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice near Weymouth in a branch partner capacity.
The role offers an opportunity for a Vet to own and lead the team within the practice, along with having clinical freedom but with the additional regional support of the group. The Branch Partner will have the opportunity to drive the clinic forward and be a positive drive and example to the team.
The role does offer a 4 day working week with 6 weeks annual leave allowance per year along with other fantastic benefits.
The Vet will be working alongside a great team and have the responsibility for developing and looking after their own client base. There is additional support available for more complex cases at the closest 24hr hospital in Dorchester.
Inhouse diagnostics include radiography, ultrasound and an in house laboratory.

About you
- You will have the motivation, drive and ambition to develop a practice and play an instrumental role in its ongoing growth and development.
- You will have a strong level of experience gained in a small animal practice
- You will have leadership skills and enjoy leading and motivating a team.
- You will be comfortable working sole charge
- You will ideally have a bias or area of specialism
- You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations
- You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic surgeon
- An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged
- You will be ambitious, driven, and forward-thinking veterinary surgeon
- You will set a positive working environment and lead by example
- You will enjoy mentoring and coaching others and sharing knowledge and experience
- You will have a calming approach when dealing with a busy practice environment
- You will be passionate and dedicated to providing excellent clinical care
- You will have excellent customer service and communication skills
- You will have career aspirations to continually develop your clinical skill set and knowledge
- You will have areas of special interest that you would like to pursue
