Job description

We are currently recruiting for a “ Hands On”  Warehouse Manager for our client based in High Wycombe. This is a varied position undertaking a number of general delivery and Warehouse duties. Previous Warehouse experience is essential for this role, where you will play a key role within the business. This position will become permanent following a successful Temporary trial period.

DUTIES:

• Receiving and processing in coming parcels and packages.
• Picking product for orders
• Inventory accuracy and control
• Efficient and safe storage of inventory and related paperwork
• Responsibility for ensuring well maintained and clean delivery vehicles
• Ensure quality objectives and delivery deadlines are achieved
• Maintaining a tidy Warehouse environment
• Produce a variety of Inventory reports
• Recommend actions to improve warehouse and delivery efficiency
• Promote a safe operating environment
• Provide Customer Service Assistance to Trade counter visitors
• Setup work schedules for warehouse staff, monitoring performance & conduct reviews.
• Liaise with Inventory Controller regarding efficient inventory accuracy
• Provide training and support to new and existing Warehouse Operatives
• Attend and complete Health and Safety compliance and training
• Conduct & attend regular progress and communication
• Conduct regular progress and communication meetings with senior Management

SKILLS: 

• Previous proven Warehouse Experience essential
• Previous Line Management experience (desirable)
• Stock Control experience
• Health & Safety trained
• Computer literate (with experience of producing reports)
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible and hard working
• Team Player
