Job Title: Commercial Property Surveyor
Location: Rugby, Midlands
Company Overview: A well-established firm of property advisors, agents, and surveyors, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Property Surveyor to join our team. They are proud to be the leading experts in residential, rural, commercial, and lettings property sectors. The regional network of offices spans the Midlands, providing comprehensive services to clients, with an additional office in London.
The Role: As a Commercial Property Surveyor, you will play a key role in the valuation, agency, general professional work, and client management within our commercial property division. This role, based in the Rugby office, requires a dynamic individual capable of handling all aspects of commercial property transactions and providing general professional advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake RICS Valuations
- Source and meet with prospective agency and management clients
- Conduct property appraisals for sale or rental
- Negotiate and prepare head of terms
- Monitor and progress sales/lettings, ensuring smooth completion/let, liaising with relevant parties
- Provide general professional advice, including rent reviews and lease renewals
Requirements:
- RICS Qualified Surveyor
- Registered RICS Valuer (preferred, but not essential)
- Commercial awareness with a proven ability to achieve targets
- Good knowledge of the Midlands area and geographical trends
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to win clients and achieve success in deals
- Experience in day-to-day management of agency and management clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Accurate, organized, numerate, and technology-savvy
- Problem-solving skills
- Team player with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- "Can-do" attitude and ability to use initiative
- Full, clean UK driving license with access to own vehicle
