Senior Analyst

Entain are hiring a Senior Analyst to join our London, Stratford office. As a Senior Analyst you will be part of our Commercial Insights and Analytics team, and your role will be instrumental in providing essential support for our gaming product. As our Senior Analyst you will deliver profound insights into product and proposition performance, actively contribute to financial and gaming strategies, and conduct thorough analyses of player behavior.

Additionally, this position will play a vital role in shaping leadership decisions through impactful analysis, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the product's performance. Collaborating with Reporting Analysts, the Senior Analyst will further enhance our reporting capabilities, strengthening the overall analytical foundation of the team.

What you will do 

• Provide analytical support and insight to enable high profile and impactful decision making for the Gaming function and the wider business, allowing key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Provide analysis not data. Understand the data, draw out actionable findings, and deliver them clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
• Work with the Head of Gaming Analytics to identify and implement consistent analytical metrics around complex business issues and processes.
• Drive analytical projects though to delivery and embed them within the organization.
• Pro-actively monitor key metrics, identifying unusual performance and highlighting to the business potential areas of both risk and opportunity.
• Work closely with Gaming function to ensure alignment.
• Build relationships with business leaders across the team, promoting the Gaming Analytics team’s capabilities and ensuring we remain front of mind for colleagues.

Who you are 

• High level analytical experience with a focus on analytical insights
• Expert knowledge of SQL with a thorough understanding of database structure and logic
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python / R)
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• A confident presenter and can communicate with senior stakeholders at ease.
• Ability to gather clear requirements from stakeholders clearly and work through to completion
