Job description
This position is for a Management Accountant in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to assist in decision making, as well as ensuring the financial integrity of the company. Hybrid role 2 days in office and 3 WFH.

With a team of over 5000 employees worldwide, managing more than 33,000 relocations annually, drawing on the resources of 14 regional offices and serving 180 countries across the globe. Ideal candidate will be based 40 minute commutable distance from Uxbridge.
Description
As a successful Management Accountant - General Ledger you will:
- Prepare and analyse general ledger entries.
- Ensure financial compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline financial operations.
- Work closely with auditors to ensure efficient and compliant audits.
- Implement cost-effective solutions to improve financial performance.
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
- Tax: Provide supporting analysis and documentation for tax advisors for annual returns and other compliance
Profile
A successful Management Accountant - General Ledger should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive approach to work and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Newly/Part Qual ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE
