Junior Mechanical Design Engineer
Northampton, England £25,000 - £28,000 + Office Based Hours, Monday to Friday + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Training + Private Medical This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior/Graduate Design Engineer, looking to join an established company, where you will be contributing to the whole design process, from cradle to grave! Do you have Design or Mechanical Engineering experience or qualifications? Are you looking to begin or develop your design career? On offer is the chance to work in a technically challenging role, where you can develop your design skills and learn from a skilled engineering team to become a valued Design Engineer within a well-established company. The company specialise the design and manufacture of lifting equipment, products, supplying to a range of industries. They are a family run business, with a close-knit, multi-skilled team, who are now looking to bring in a Design Engineer to cope with increasing demands. You will be working alongside management and workshop staff, contributing to the whole design process, including arranging 2D and 3D drawings, 3D modelling, contributing to site surveying and also liaising with supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SolidWorks and AutoCad software, a good mechanical background, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and progress within a design role.
