Job description
The People Administrator is an essential role in the effective delivery of our HR and Recruitment services. Providing comprehensive administrative support to the People Team, the main duties will include assisting with, supporting on, and processing candidate pre-employment checks, managing the People team inbox, and processing employee-related forms and information.
This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role to support the team whilst we have various projects underway. It is an exciting development opportunity for anyone looking to gain or develop their HR knowledge and experience, and we can offer a great degree of flexibility in hours; including the option to work school hours, 9.30am - 2.30pm 3 x days per week if desired.
The main responsibilities of this role will include;
• carrying out ID, Right to Work and DBS checks on candidates
• assisting and supporting candidates through their pre-employment checks and onboarding
• maintaining employee records
• booking/organising events and open days
• assisting with project work
• updating all associated systems and processing employee communications
• taking notes and communicating with managers across the business

• Knowledge and experience of HR systems and procedures would be advantageous; specifically, knowledge of pre-employment and DBS checks.
• Previous experience as an administrator in a busy department, preferably within a Human Resources function
