Job description

Our medical institution is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing heart-related conditions, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose heart and blood vessel conditions.
- Develop effective treatment plans tailored to patient needs, including medication management and lifestyle adjustments.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, to monitor heart function.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and treatment strategies.
- Stay abreast of advancements in cardiology to implement the latest practices and technologies in patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding heart health management and disease prevention.
- Participate in research studies and clinical trials aimed at improving cardiac care and treatment modalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A medical degree from a recognised institution, along with completion of a cardiology residency and fellowship.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a licence to practice in the UK.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in cardiology, with a strong track record of patient care excellence.
- Proficient in the use of modern diagnostic equipment and cardiac procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex medical information in understandable terms.
- A strong commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Skills:
- Specialisation in a subfield of cardiology, such as interventional or paediatric cardiology.
- Experience in conducting and publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
