Storeroom Assistant
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Starting Salary: £24,570
Hours: 45 hours per week (part time hours considered).

A successful and well-established fire alarm company based in Kingston upon Thames is currently looking to recruit an experienced storeroom assistant. Your role would entail providing a high standard of support across the office, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and in a consistently accurate and timely manner.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Assist with any store/stock duties. e.g., receive and process the deliveries
* Sorting waste for recycling.
* Help keep the store neat and tidy
* Prepare materials for jobs, projects and preparing for the drivers to collect
* Book jobs for drivers
* Keep record of incoming and outgoing materials by logging into internal database.
* Log outgoing materials.
* Help drivers to load and unload materials and dispose of waste materials.
* Load and unload old and new fire extinguishers from the crate
* Assisting with call outs if required
* Filing, Database/spreadsheet work
* Other admin duties

Eligibility Criteria
You must have:
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to multi-task and manage your time and workload efficiently, working to deadline under supervision
* Confident, builds rapport with peers internally and externally
* Strong IT skills; Outlook, Word, Excel etc, plus excellent typing skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Attention to detail
