Cyber Security Analyst – Nessus, Azure, ISO27001, NIST, hybrid
Our client within the public sector require the services of a proven Cyber Security Analyst to take responsibility for part of the delivery of the Cyber Security practices. Supporting and monitoring of access to IT facilities or infrastructure investigating unauthorised access, compliance with data protection, and performance of other administrative duties relating to security management.
Experience in driving vendors or managed service providers to carry out the fixes where required and ensuring they are adhering to best practices.Knowledge of security issues relating to hardware and software, with experience of the Microsoft technology stack.Knowledge and skills in the use of network and database security tools i.e., Nessus, Azure/Cloud, and End-user computing security.Understanding of ISO27001, CIS Controls, NIST, Cyber Essentials, and other information security best practice standards.Knowledge of storage area network (SAN) securityKnowledge of patch management.Knowledge of application security services.
Knowledge of DevOps/secops practices and culture and associated methods
Experience and knowledge of monitoring tools and the ability to configure and use the reporting and auditing facilitiesPractical experience of using Network/Internet audit/monitoring software toolsDemonstrable experience in producing security reports to senior audiences as well as to managed service providersClosely work with managed service providers to drive the improvement in security and mitigate the risks
