We are recruiting for aChief Audiologist who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. We are looking for Chief Audiologist for Paediatric and Chief Audiologist for Adult services.

We are interested in hearing from Audiologists who are interested in working at a senior level in either Adult or Paediatrics. In this post you will be required to travel to our 3 Hospitals in Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City & Hertford.
There is a significant improvement project taking place at the Trust, currently being led by John Waters as Service Improvement Lead. The successful candidate will need to have a strong appetite for change and improvement and be able to help take a leading role in achieving this.
If you are interested in working with adults, you will ideally be a specialist in either Tinnitus, Vestibular Assessment, Assessing adults with Learning Disabilities, bone-anchored hearing aids or electrophysiological measurements.
This vacancy is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in more than just the core audiology work and training is available for staff to develop their interests in Adult Rehabilitation, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and Vestibular Assessment.
Applicants must hold a BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualifications. An MSc or evidence of Post Graduate study preferred. Applicants should also have, or be able to achieve RCCP registration, and membership of BAA while not essential is desirable.
Applications are welcomed from Audiologists nearing completion of their degree course. Candidates would be expected to hold or be able to achieve RCCP registration, BSA membership and or HCPC registration.
We are a busy service providing a range of services including:
Full diagnostic support and rehabilitation services to 7 ENT consultants
Direct Access Hearing Aid Clinics
Balance Assessment Clinics using Caloric & ENG / VNG testing
Vestibular Rehab
Tinnitus clinics
Dedicated paediatric clinics.
Research and audit
As a Chief audiologist and senior member of staff you will be responsible for leading our expanding Vestibular service and implant service, which will include working in conjunction with two current ENT otology specialists.
Previous experience is essential in the use ofVhit, Caloric, VNG, VEMP and clinic assessments of dizzy patients. Confidence in report writing and determining suitable treatments for patients.
You would also be expected to oversee training of Students (BSc & MSc) and junior staff.
