Job Title: CNC Milling Operator Setter
Hours 14.00 To 22.00 Mon To Thurs. 14.00 To 22.00 Friday
Pay up to £14.00
Position Overview: We are looking for a talented CNC Milling Operator Setter with experience in the aerospace industry to operate and set up CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce aerospace components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as necessary to ensure proper machining processes.
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
* Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, including routine maintenance of machines and equipment.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
* Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and quality checks, accurately and comprehensively.
