Job description

Hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to be seconded by our client to a project site based at Wilton, for this full-time permanent opportunity.

With your petrochemical/continuous process industry training experience, or recognised apprenticeship, you will have an aptitude for problem solving and an appropriate CompEx, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC, or equivalent, qualification.

Your background will bring relevant understanding of the industry including ability address all relevant aspects of work preparation, safety, instructions, legislation, documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Fault finding, calibration and testing of instrument systems
• All aspects of maintenance and repair of instrument systems and associated components, and hazardous area equipment
• Electrical motor control systems and analyser field equipment
• Out of hours call out cover and extended hours during busy periods
