Are you looking for a challenge to gain knowledge and experience of the core areas of complex patient care and discharge on anew community hospital Discharge to Assess (D2A) Ward? We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Band 5 Registered nurses who will deliver a high-quality patient care and thrive on the opportunities this post offers. Community health care is changing and fast developing, and it is an exciting time to be a part of the Discharge Business Unit! The posts advertised will be for one of the 4 wards across the pathway, we have 2 at Samuel Johnson Community Hospital, Lichfield and 2 at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital, Tamworth. The world population is ageing, and we are all familiar with the challenges of meeting the needs of the growing number of older people here at Samuel Johnson Community Hospital and Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital, we all work tirelessly to ensure the right care and support services are in place when older people need them. It’s important to celebrate longevity and it is equally vital that longevity is coupled with an excellent quality of life and a sense of personal and social well-being. As a Band 5 Registered Nurse you will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care, including: assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of holistic and individualised care.
