HGV Mechanic Job Description
My Doncaster based Client is seeking an apprentice trained HGV Mechanic to repair and maintain all types of commercial vehicle and trailer.
Duties will include:-
MOTpreparation and presentation
Periodic road worthiness inspection
Lubrication services
Fault diagnosis
Major unit replacement
Completion of associated paper work, admin and reporting
The Candidate
Ideally apprentice trained and qualified to City and guilds or NVQ level 3 with post apprenticeship experience (experienced applicants without qualifications will be considered).
A clean driving licence is essential and full HGV entitlement would be an advantage.
Willing to work overtime including weekends
Training will be provided as required.
