The Head of Account Management will be responsible for strategic development of existing and new customer relationships and solutions within our Aviation & Travel Business Unit.
What do the key responsibilities in this role include?
- Develop relationships with existing and new customers, identifying and responding to growth opportunities.
- Work with the senior customer contacts to develop joint business plans and contract strategy to ensure that both DHL and customer objectives are met.
- Develop opportunities to drive additional account value.
- Support the local teams with identifying and implementing a pipeline of value development initiatives
- Manage commercial contracts across the full contract lifecycle, including internal O2D processes
- Work with the Business Development team on new opportunities and act as a link with the ops team to leverage synergies.
- Responsible for coordinating customer satisfaction feedback via CXM and working on the feedback to develop the accounts.
- Monitor the contractual performance against SLAs and KPIs and work with the GMs to ensure they're achieved.
- Ensure regular communication with the local account teams to share best practice and customer feedback.
- Market Aviation and Travel products and services.
To be successful for this position, what do we need from you?
- Account Management/Business Development experience – Essential
- Experience of working in Aviation and Travel related ground services – Essential
- Experience of working with airlines and airports, preferable experience working at Heathrow
- Experience of commercial contracting and contract lifecycle management
- Ability to build collaborative customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers
- Experience in working in complex stakeholder environments
