Job Title Engineering Administrator
Location Birchwood
Reports to Engineering Manager
Hours of Work Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week, 8.30 – 5.00 pm
Salary TBC
Job Objectives
As an engineering administrator, you will be responsible for all the administrative tasks carried out in your office location. Your duties include providing administrative support across the engineering sector within the organisation and ensuring your local office is served and fully operational.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The duties below are an indicator of the postholder’s duties and are not exclusive, with additional duties being undertaken as required.
• Responsible for all administration in the engineering department.
• Help to organise any relevant training needed for the department.
• Answering telephone calls, dealing with any queries, and passing messages on as required.
• Sending engineering updates and communications to the local teams.
• Update Engineering Trackers for Audits, Tools, and Training.
• Supporting new starter onboarding equipment.
• Management and filing of engineering documents.
• Order Uniforms and PPE for our Technicians.
Skills
• You will be well organised, and competent in maintaining filing systems, paper & electronic.
• Experienced in MS Office such as Word and Excel.
• Experienced in MS Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent organizational skills & good time management
• Good command of English both written and oral.
• Highly efficient with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
