Commercial Senior Associate - Manchester
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial lawyer to join the market leading team of this international firm.
The Role
Working as part of a team advising on high profile and complex matters
Handling a very varied workload to include -
- Advising on contracts including both traditional IT and outsourcing contracts and supply chain along with contracts for innovative and disruptive technologies
- Advising on technology and outsourcing related regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to the financial services sector
- Supporting on the commercial aspects of corporate deals
- Advising on data centre contracts
- Business development initiatives, including speaking at seminars for clients, internal training as well as client briefing papers
Requirements
An experienced and reputable Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 5 PQE
Experience gained in a recognised team
Good grounding in commercial and technology law
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels and with clients from a variety of different cultures
Able to build strong relationships and enjoy business development
