Special needs teacher
Axcis are recruiting for a special needs school in Chippenham that are looking for a teacher to work full time or part time with their year 10s. This would be starting as soon as possible and would be a long term requirement for the school. The school cater to a wide range of disabilities and diagnosis' such as complex needs and autism. The school are ideally looking for a teacher with a background in special needs, but will still consider a teacher from mainstream that may be looking to do something a little different. Marking and planning would be required and the school are looking for a teacher that is adaptable to the ever changing needs of the students, along with someone that recognises the small success and can motivate and celebrate students in their learning journey. Good knowledge of the national curriculum across more than one subject is desirable and confidence with differentiation essential. The school is part of a federation of special schools in Wiltshire and have a great team in place whom all have a firm belief in proving SEN children with the education that they deserve.
