Role Overview: As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in the audit process, providing high-quality services to a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will encompass planning and executing audit assignments, leading audit teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements, overseeing the entire audit process from planning to completion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business operations and financial objectives.
- Coordinate and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
- Review and analyse financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and compliance with accounting standards.
- Stay updated on changes in audit regulations, accounting principles, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Participate in business development efforts, identifying opportunities for growth and new client acquisition.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing insights and innovative ideas within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Substantial audit experience (X+ years) within a reputable accountancy firm.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions and team leadership.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide junior team members.
- Proficiency in auditing software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
