Project Manager

We are undertaking an exciting project for 2024 which will significantly impact the services available across Milton Keynes to individuals and to families experiencing domestic abuse. Due to the growth of the city, our plans include introducing a brand new refuge setting, from budget to build specifications and feasibility to funding. We are looking for a project manager who is ready to help us deliver this much anticipated space which will temporarily house those who seek safety and support from our caring team.

The project starts here…

Working closely with the Trustees and CEO, the project manager will:

• Identify the project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
• Develop detailed project plans to guide MK ACT, Stakeholders and other project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements
• Identify and assign project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of team members
• Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery
• Compile and submit project status and budget reports to Trustees and other stakeholders
• Work effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
• Develop excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders

This project will see us add a much-needed additional site to our portfolio, the project manager will lead on delivering a fit for purpose, financially viable and safe space which offer privacy and communal facilities to all residents. It is important to recognise discretion at all time and to consider the sensitivities of the intended residents when considering all aspects of the project.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be carried out at appointment of a candidate.

This post is subject to completion of a three-month probationary period.

Must be mobile to visit sites and work across the whole contract area as required.
