Robert Half are supporting our client, a PE backed business going on an exciting journey, in their recruitment of a Group Accountant on a permanent contract. Arisen as a result of a promotion, this is a unique chance for someone coming out of practice to gain varied experience, be exposed to senior leadership and really have the chance to drive change/ value add across an inquisitive business. This is one of those "launchpad" roles, so if you're ambitious and have a desire to become an FC / FD in the future, then this role is for you!

Hybrid working is supported with a min 3 days pw in the office and the salary on offer is up to c £50,000 + benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver monthly consolidated accounts and annual statutory accounts
• Deliver the consolidated cash flow, including commentary on balances vs budget
• Manage the audit process to ensure annual audits are completed on time
• Build a strong relationship with the company's tax advisors, assist in the preparation of annual tax returns
• Deliver monthly management accounts and include a full understanding of results vs budget, with focus on the balance sheet and cash flow movements
• Supervise the monthly Intercompany reconciliation process
• Assess and drive financial control processes
• Manage the quarterly Group recharge exercise
• Be involved in business projects as and when they arise

About You:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CA)
• Prior audit experience is essential
• Be driven and hard working
• Excellent technical accounting expertise
