As the Head Nurse your key responsibilities include: - Support the Home Manager with the management of the Home, with a particular emphasis on clinical nursing leadership
- Ensure that an excellent standard of resident care is set, delivered and maintained at all times
- Take responsibility for the safeguarding of adults, and follow the Trust's whistle blowing policy as required
- To promote and maintain high standards of resident care and lead the care team and provide skilled care
- You will have supernumerary time to focus on staff supervision/PDR, Quality Assurance which would encompass care plans and evaluation of good practice
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: - You will need excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- An ability to connect with our residents, flexibility
- Compassion & empathy and a willingness to work as a proactive team member
- You will be dedicated to working in a person-centred way that enables our residents to live a dignified and fulfilled life
- Minimum 2 years full-time or equivalent supervision of care staff and the care of older people in a residential care setting
- Be highly driven team motivator, with excellent communication and organisational skills
The successful Head Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £43,400 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week.
