We require a dedicated and experienced herdsperson for a modern 300 cow unit in Appleby, Cumbria.
The role would entail all aspects of herd health and welfare, millkings, AI and foot trimming if qualified and being responsible for the unit on weekends on.
The Holstein herd achieves excellent results on a 2x per day milking system, are cubicle housed and are milked through a 26/52 dairy master parlour.
