Job description
Academics secondary division currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Maths to work at an Ofsted rated academy of ‘Good’ in Stoke-on-Trent.
This position will be full time (Monday-Friday) with an immediate start. This role will be on a long term basis and for the right candidate this role does have the strong possibility of becoming extended until the end of the summer term (July 2024).

Ideally, for this role, you will have experience of teaching up to Key Stage 4 and you will have a clear focus on engaging the student’s interest in Maths.
Role Requirements
* Hold the relevant Maths qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Be a confident communicator, have excellent behaviour management, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
* Deliver exciting and engaging Maths lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum.
* Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
Please be aware for this particular role you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
