Job Title: Newly qualified Management Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Company: A Surrey-based SME manufacturing business

Location: Surrey, United Kingdom

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits (HYBRID)

Our client is a well-established SME manufacturing business based in Surrey. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation in their industry, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled Management Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the financial success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Be the face of finance delivering excellent internal customer experiences.

Key Tasks:

- Prepare management accounts financial statements and reports.
- Maximise ERP & CRM systems (SAGE 200c) usage working on process improvement.
- Perform monthly balance sheet and GL account reconciliations.
- Oversee supplier statement reconciliations.
- Handle VAT reconciliations and submissions.
- Manage weekly payment runs and payroll.
- Assist in budget preparation and rolling forecast maintenance.
- Handle accounting duties related to stock project costs parts costing and more.
- Liaise with external and internal audit teams.
- Coach and develop the Assistant Accountant.
- Provide support for financial planning and analysis projects.

Education and Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or construction.
- Proficiency in SAGE 200 - NOT ESSENTIAL
- Can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
- High integrity accountability and personal credibility.
- Courage to challenge and speak up when needed.

 

Salary: £55000 - £65,000 +
