Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, articulate and personable person to join our Admin Team as Attendance (KS3 and KS4) and GDPR Admin Support Officer.
This is a permanent position in term time but does require working staff development days.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school is compliant in all its processes relating to attendance and GDPR and will work alongside the Attendance Support Officer to record and monitor student absence, provide associated attendance support and assist the School Business Manager with GDPR admin requirements.

Principal Accountabilities:
• To work closely with ASO, providing admin support as required.
• To monitor daily, attendance reporting platforms and record student absence
• To monitor GDPR email account and respond to/action data protection requests received, with support from the SBM and Data Protection Officer
• Support SBM in the management and action required for any data protection breaches.
• General admin support with the compliance of the requirements of the GDPR regulations.
A competent administrator is vital to the success of this role within the school, and they will be expected to communicate key information to the SBM and ASO to ensure all requirements of the processes are met within the required timescales. You will need to be self-motivated and well organised with good IT skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload. It is essential that you can work with diplomacy, sensitivity and absolute confidentiality at all times. GDPR experience is not required.
