CREDIT CONTROLLER – LISBURN
SALARY: £14 an hour
EMPLOYMENT: Temporary, full-time, office-based opportunity
Reed Accountancy is partnered with a highly reputable and growing client in Lisburn, in the appointment of an experienced and immediately available Credit Controller .:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers make payment within the agreed payment terms.
- Reviewing orders on hold, customer queries and complaints in a courteous manner
- Checking, approving, or rejecting new account applications as per company procedures.
- Ensuring monthly statements, first letters and final demands are printed, checked, and sent out within the agreed timescale.
- Setting accounts up for direct debit and running the direct debits monthly on the dates set by management.
- Dealing with customers professionally by phone, letter, and email.
- Taking card payments over the phone daily
- Passing accounts for Legal Action
- Maintain accurate records for all chasing activity.
- Assisting with the month end reports
What you need to succeed:
- Excellent communications skills at all levels both written and verbal.
- Good keyboard skills and competence of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High standard of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to recognise potential risks to the firm that should be escalated.
- A proven track record in achieving credit control collection targets.
- Confident call handler
- Knowledge of Credit Law
