Our client based in Dinnington near Sheffield UK, are a small but rapidly growing technology based industrial services business that develops and provides solutions to equipment operators that enable them to reduce operating costs, enhance reliability and reduce carbon footprint. innovative technology and derivative products use real time oil analysis to deliver operators of all types of equipment - from a ship or train to a generator or wind-turbine - valuable insight into the health and maintenance status of their equipment. Reporting to: CEO

The role:

We require an ambitious and talented engineer to drive new product and core technology innovation and development in accordance with our development roadmap. You will push forward our core technology and product innovation with the objective of extending our lead in the field of real time oil analysis and analytics. You will be responsible for managing and growing our internal team of engineers and take responsibility for the development of new core technologies and final products through to volume production.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Driving technology innovation.
• Managing the development team.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualities and experience:

• Reliable with a straightforward, common sense can-do approach to work.
• A minimum of 5yrs commercial hybrid (mechanical and electronics) product development.
• Expertise in the in the areas of mechanical design, electronics design and project management.
• Proven ability to take an idea from concept to finished product.

Location : Dinnington, Sheffield, UK. Office Based.

Hours : Monday to Friday, 08.30am to 05.30pm.

40 hours pw can be of the following 08:00 - 16:30, 8:30 - 17:00 or 9 - 17:30. Half hour for lunch.

Salary Up to £100,000 pa depending on ability
