Job role: Hair & Beauty Instructor
Location: Trent Acres, Kings Bromley, Staffordshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Are you an Instructor committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people? We are looking for an experienced Hair & Beauty Instructor to join our fantastic team at Trent Acres.
About the role
As a Hair & Beauty Instructor, you will deliver fun based learning to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Hair & Beauty Instructor who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with individual and small groups of pupils in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

We are looking for a Hair & Beauty Instructor, experienced in a range of subjects and any other practical based activities that could engage and motivate students. You will work closely with our Teachers, helping deliver our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Already experienced in an SEN/ASC environment, you will be forward thinking, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by supporting families and helping every pupil to reach their potential.
Educated with Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths.
About us
Options Trent Acres School is currently undergoing development and increasing its pupil’s numbers transitioning from 30 pupils to 60 pupils recently and with approval to open an Early Years Unit and extend our Primary provision. Due to this exciting time for the school the job roles currently advertised are all new as part of this development.
The school is purpose built, modern and welcoming with a range of specialist learning areas including an indoor and outdoor riding school and outdoor gymnasium. Pupils also have the opportunity to work with our horses, donkeys, goats, alpaca and chickens. Learning outside of the classroom is a fundamental part of life at Trent Acres. We have a dedicated staff team who are focused on the delivery of high quality, pupil centred, bespoke packages of care and education.
Our service is in within easy reach of Stoke, Derby, Telford, Stafford, Lichfield, Burntwood, Rugeley, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and surrounding towns.
