Job description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior Doctor to join our dynamic healthcare team. This crucial role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced medical professionals, providing essential clinical support across a variety of departments. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering high-quality patient care, participating in diagnostics, treatments, and consultations, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments through interviews, medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Participate in daily ward rounds and patient handovers, ensuring continuity of care.
- Prescribe and administer treatments under the guidance of senior medical staff.
- Participate in emergency medical procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate comprehensive care plans.
- Attend and actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
- Support health promotion and disease prevention activities within the hospital and broader community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, followed by completion of foundation training.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the capability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Preferred: Experience in a similar role or healthcare setting.
