Job description
Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Experienced Semi Senior / Senior Accountant to join our clients established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established practice where you will have the ability to develop and progress.
The duties of the role will include:
Preparing Accounts for Partnerships, Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
Preparing Corporation Tax Returns.
Preparing Personal Tax Returns.
Preparing VAT Returns.
Bookkeeping.
Dealing with client queries relevant to level of experience
Assisting with the training of junior members of staff, including reviewing work.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Part qualified or qualified ACCA or ICAEW. Experienced AAT will also be considered
At least 3 years recent practice experience.
Experience using SAGE, QuickBooks, Xero and Iris would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience working in a varied and busy environment.
Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders.
Other Details:
The salary for this role is between £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

Fully office based, 37.5 hours per week.
