Job description
Our client is a rapidly growing, independent consultancy that provide both business and technical solutions to top-tier and boutique investment clients within the private capital markets industry.
You will work on multi-national projects, as they currently have clients in over 20 countries. Your role will be varied across implementation, reporting and configuration. The role provides a great scope for career enhancement, professional development and training.
It is a mix of technical and soft skills and will include:
- Contributing to the delivery of client projects by successfully managing multiple tasks which have been delegated with a high degree of autonomy.
- Working effectively within a project management structure, managing tasks within the time frames prescribed and ensuring deliverables are of high quality.
- Managing small client projects with assistance, escalating appropriately when there are risks to deliverable time-frames.
- Using your programming skills to provide technical solutions to client requests and issues.
- Developing and delivering reports using a wide variety of available technologies, including SQL, SAS, SSRS, SSIS and Excel VBA.
- Working across the spectrum of partner products to enact configuration and customisation requests.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data from existing sources into new systems.
Essential Skills Include:
- Prior experience in a client facing capacity and a desire to engage and work directly with clients to achieve an exceptional result.
- Practical experience of using SQL in a business environment and ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, proficient in writing VBA macros and
- Experience of using Power BI,Tableau,Python
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with both a technical and non-technical user base effectively.
