We are seeking dedicated nurses to join our Client's team as a Vaccination Nurses in local schools in Glasgow. No prior vaccination experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. As a School Vaccination Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering vital immunization services to local schools, contributing to the health and safety of the student population. Key Responsibilities:
- Vaccine Administration: Administer vaccines to students following established protocols and guidelines in a school setting.
- Student and Teacher Health: Assess students’ and teacher's health and vaccination needs, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vaccine administration and student health information, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to create a safe and hygienic vaccination environment within schools.
- Training: Participate in comprehensive training programs to become proficient in vaccine administration techniques and safety protocols.
- Communication: Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure efficient vaccination clinics and promote vaccination awareness.
- Education: Stay updated on vaccination guidelines and healthcare practices, sharing this knowledge within the school community.
Requirements:
- Active NMC Pin.
- Driver's Licence Needed
- No prior vaccination experience required; training will be provided.
