Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work a 4 On 4 Off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off 6-6) shift pattern for a company that can offer true job security with the products that they manufacture for a base salary of up to £45,000?
The basics:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Both mechanical and electrical maintenance engineers considered – as long as you have electrical knowledge, as the company can provide training if you have no electrical certifications. Electrical knowledge will be scrutinised at interview.
Location: Heanor

Salary: Up to £45,000 + OT = earnings of £50,000 and upwards achievable
Shift: 4 On, 4 Off 6-6 – 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off
Overview:
With manufacturing sites located across the UK you will be part of a larger group that produce products that are always in need.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- To maintain service and repair all automated machinery to minimise production down time using engineering techniques
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
- PPM’s
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Basic experience working with/knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems etc = beneficial
- Time served apprentice trained
- Educated in a relevant discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
Commutable from: Ripley, Heanor, Ilkeston, Derby, Long Eaton, Nottingham, Alfreton, Clay Cross and surrounding areas
