One of our key clients has an urgent requirement for a Public Relations and Communications Manager to be based at their offices in either Greater Manchester on a permanent basis (Hybrid Working available). This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing business who are making a huge impact in their sector.
As Public Relations and Communications Manager you will lead in the creation and successful implementation of the company’s external communications strategy, encompassing stakeholder engagement, public relations and corporate social responsibility.
As Public Relations and Communications Manageryou will build and leverage relationships with businesses, communities, organisations and political and media contacts. You will support the delivery of the organisations objectives and ensure key stakeholders are fully informed. As Public Relations and Communications Manageryou will provide communication support and assistance for bids and tenders, support internal communications projects and employee engagement initiatives.
My client would be keen to speak to candidates with the following expertise:
Relevant experience
Experience of establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders across various internal and external parties.
An ability to understand and influence legislation and policy frameworks that can directly impact the business unit’s existing operations and growth potential.
The ability to operate confidently at all levels of the organisation, providing advice to colleagues including senior management. This will support building trusted relationships with partners and stakeholders, using influencing skills to effectively manage conflict and broker solutions.
Have proven line management experience, demonstrating an ability to create a high performing team culture, enhancing the team’s professional development.
Have a proven understanding of UK political and policy processes and institutions at all levels.
Understand the policy, technology and business landscape for the UK
Have established networks and working relationships within UK policy environments, both public institutions and private sector bodies
