Job description

- Work on a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks. - Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently - Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery - Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems and work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives, electrical equipment/systems and control circuits, 3 Phase Motors and Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) - Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in our safety program - Be responsible for timely and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma
• Can lift 25+ lbs
• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)

• Strong working knowledge of mechanical gearboxes, timing, alignment, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Experience repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other components.
• The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
• The ability to reference equipment manuals and other technical literature.
• Basic understanding and application of precision maintenance.
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of shop tools (welding equipment, bandsaws, drill presses, hydraulic presses, etc.)
• Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical and preferred electrical background
• Corrugated/Box maintenance experience a plus but not required
