Job description

Our client, based in the Manchester area, are looking to recruit an established Lead/Senior Electrician to assist them on existing work across their residential and commercial customer base.

This is a PERMANENT role paying £22/hr PAYE which is equivalent to a basic of £45,760 based on 40 hours basic. There is a Van with the role & working hours are *7.30am - 4pm Mon - Fri, with occasional flexibility between the team for callouts.

*Occasional overnight stays once/twice a month if job not based locally. However, majority of work is based in the Northwest.

Duties:

• Reactive and compliance maintenance and reactive call outs for Facilities Management contracts around the Northwest & Nationwide.
• 1st and 2nd fixes to commercial and residential properties.
• New installations/refurbishments renovations in the Northwest.
• New lighting/Solar installations.
• New access control systems in new build apartments.
• Oversee small team of electricians and apprentices covering installations & maintenance works.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• JIB Approved Electrician (Gold card)
• Inspection & Testing to City & Guilds 2394 and 2395.
• 18th Edition regulations.
• CSCS card.
• Access control systems.
• Ideally experience of overseeing a small team of electricians would be helpful, to plan works for the day etc.
• Experience on Fire Systems is desirable but not essential.
• Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (might be once/twice a month) and there is callout rota in place between the electrical team.

We have dealt with our client for many years, as they continued to expand across the facilities management sector. They have a small but dedicated team working closely with a number of key clients across a number of national contracts.
